Saffron cake

ingredients:

  • Flour: 180 grams
  • Sugar: 110 grams
  • Eggs: three
  • Liquid oil: half a pint
  • Brewed saffron: one tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder: half a teaspoon
  • Milk: a quarter cup
  • Rose water: one tablespoon
  • Baking powder: one teaspoon

How to prepare:

First, mix the eggs with cardamom and sugar in a suitable bowl until they become thick and creamy. Next, infuse rose water with saffron and add milk to the bowl and mix together.

After the ingredients are uniform, add the oil and mix until it is uniform with the other ingredients. Next, mix the flour with the baking powder and after sifting it twice, add it to the bowl containing the ingredients.

Mix the ingredients with a whisk or a slow mixer until they are uniform and the cake batter is ready. Can make this delicious cake in one piece or small like a cupcake according to our taste.

Turn on the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius for ten minutes until it is completely heated, then put paper capsules in the muffin molds and fill two-thirds of the molds with cake batter and place them in the middle layer of the oven.

It takes about 20 to 25 minutes for the cupcakes to cook and be ready. If you want to make the cake in a large form and in one piece, it should be left in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes until it is ready.
