  • Grated saffron (half a tablespoon)
  • rose water (3 tablespoons)
  • water (half litter)
  • sugar (as needed)

How to prepare saffron syrup:

To prepare saffron syrup, first pour water into the pot and put it on the flame. Wait until it reaches boiling temperature. Reduce the heat, add the sugar to the water and stir well until it dissolves completely.

When the sugar is completely dissolved in the water, add the soaked saffron to the sugar and water mixture and stir well.

Then add rose water and heat the syrup for ten minutes until it reaches the right consistency.

Remove the pot from the heat and after the syrup has cooled, pour it into a suitable container and place it in the refrigerator.

When serving the syrup, mix a quarter of a glass of syrup with cold water.
